Terms of Service
Last updated
The short version: try it free for 3 days, pay $497 once if you keep it, get a refund within 14 days if you change your mind. You own your content and review what you publish.
1.The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Serpwright (“Serpwright”, “we”) for using serpwright.com and the Serpwright app. If you use Serpwright for a company or a client, you agree on their behalf and confirm you are allowed to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and is part of these terms.
2.Your account
You need an account to use Serpwright. Give us accurate details, keep your password and sign-in links private, and tell us at hello@serpwright.com if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens in your account and in workspaces you own, including actions by members you invite. You must be at least 16.
3.Free trial
New accounts get a 3-day free trial with every feature. We don't ask for a card and never charge you automatically. When the trial ends, your account becomes read-only until you buy lifetime access. We may end trials that are used to abuse the service, such as creating many trial accounts.
4.Lifetime purchase and refunds
Lifetime access costs $497, paid once through Stripe, plus any sales tax or VAT shown at checkout. It gives the account that bought it access to Serpwright for as long as we operate the service, with no subscription or renewal. It is for your own use and your clients' sites; you may not resell or transfer the account.
If Serpwright isn't right for you, email hello@serpwright.com within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund. After a refund the account returns to read-only.
“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the Serpwright service. If we ever shut it down, we will give at least 90 days' notice so you can export your content.
5.Your AI keys and third-party services
Serpwright writes with AI provider keys you supply (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, MiniMax or others we support). Usage on those keys is billed to you by the provider under your agreement with them, and we are not responsible for their charges, availability or output. The same applies to the CMS, webhook and search data providers you connect. You are responsible for having the right to use every key and credential you add.
6.Your content
You own what you put into Serpwright and what it produces for you: titles, briefs, articles and images, as far as the law and your AI provider's terms allow. You give us permission to store, process and send that content only as needed to run the service for you, for example to your AI provider or your CMS.
AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing what you publish, including facts, claims, product details, medical, legal or financial statements, and anything that could infringe someone else's rights. Auto mode publishes without that review, and you choose whether to turn it on.
7.Acceptable use
Don't use Serpwright to:
- connect sites or Search Console properties you don't own or aren't authorized to manage;
- publish content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or that infringes copyright or trademarks;
- publish spam, doorway pages or other content that breaks Google's spam policies;
- probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits or access controls;
- resell access to Serpwright itself.
We may suspend accounts that do, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
8.Our service
We own Serpwright, its software and its brand. We keep improving the product and may change or remove features; if a change significantly reduces what lifetime customers paid for, we will tell you in advance. We aim for high availability but don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no promise about search rankings or traffic: Google decides those.
9.Warranty and liability
Serpwright is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost rankings or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10.Ending the agreement
You can stop using Serpwright at any time and ask us to delete your account at hello@serpwright.com. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections on your content, liability and governing law continue after the agreement ends.
11.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law to be confirmed by the founder], and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and email account owners at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Serpwright after that means you accept the new terms.
